The book "Sammy L. Younge, Jr.:  the first black college student to die in the Black Liberation Movement", was authored by James Forman, Executive Chairman for the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC).  This includes insights into the life of Samuel Leamon Younge, Jr. and the incredible young people that worked with him to fight for justice in the 1960's segregated South.  This was the beginning of a revolution of change in the American and world culture, in discrimination and "Jim Crow".  It doesn't paint him as a hero, but a regular person, that decided to stand for something larger than himself, and his community.
